Hey everyone! I'm so happy to be taking part in Pinkfresh Studio's Washi Tape release blog hop! As I always am with Pinkfresh products, I've been seriously blown away by the quality, beauty and ingenuity of the items in this release. I had so much fun creating these cards, and I was so inspired that I ended up making whole lotta of cards! And after I've finished writing this post, I'm off to make even more and maybe a scrapbook layout or two!

For these first two cards I used the painted florals washi tape.
For the two cards above, I used the painted florals washi tape and the adorable frames washi. as well as the Adore alpha die set.
The the cards above I used the Painted Florals washi tape again, with the co-ordinating floral cluster die to create some partial die-cut cards.
For these two cards I focused on the Floral Cluster stamp set.
For these two cards I focused on fussy-cutting the washi tapes. I used the painted florals and adorable frames washi tapes. And for the sentiments on both cards I used the Scripted Bold Sentiments 1 stamp set.
For these final two cards I basically used the Adorable Frames washi tape as my own patterned paper. I used the A Day in the City stamp and coordinating Cityscape die to create the card front. I stamped all of the images in black ink and heat embossed the sentiment in gold, I used these neutral inks so the washi tape background would really stand out. I used some acetate to create a shaker window, filled that with some gold star sequins and backed both cards with one of the washi frames.

For these first two cards I used the painted florals washi tape.
- For the left-hand card, I die cut the large cluster with the co-ordinating die, and used a sentiment from the something stamp set for a quick, pretty and simple card.
- For the right-hand card: I used the same washi tape, but used the wreath panel section to create the card front. I cut out the centre part of the wreath and stamped a sentiment in the middle from the Floral Cluster stamp set. I also used the butterfly stamp Itty Bitty Elements stamp set to embellish the card a little more.
For the two cards above, I used the painted florals washi tape and the adorable frames washi. as well as the Adore alpha die set.
- For the left-hand card I used the alpha dies to cut out the word 'hey' from the floral washi tape background. I then die-cut those letters again from white and gold cardstock to fill in the negative space.
- For the card on the right, I used those positive die-cuts which I offset with some gold cardstock to create a drop shadow effect. I used the thin washi border strips from the Adorable Frames washi to create a border on either side of the card. I also used a leaf embossing folder (from my stash) to create a little more interest on the background.
The the cards above I used the Painted Florals washi tape again, with the co-ordinating floral cluster die to create some partial die-cut cards.
- For the left card I used the Floral Cluster stamp set and heat embossed with some gold over the washi tape florals. It's a totally genius idea that the washi, stamps and dies all coordinate together!
- For the right-hand card I used the exact same design but didn't use the stamp set to heat emboss over the flowers. You get a totally different look, but it's still equally as beautiful. I also stamped a sentiment from the Forest Friends stamp set on this card.
For these two cards I focused on the Floral Cluster stamp set.
- For the left-hand card I started by creating my own background by blending some Distress Oxide inks together (I used Seedless Preserves, Abandoned Coral and Tattered Rose). I stamp the large floral cluster with some embossing ink, then heat embossed the image in gold. I also used the 'thinking of you' sentiment from the Forest Friends stamp set.
- For the right card, I combined several of the stamps together to create my own sentiment. I then used the smaller floral clusters from the Painted Florals washi to embellish. I also used a couple of images from the Itty Bitty Elements stamp set and heat embossed them in gold for some cute details!
For these two cards I focused on fussy-cutting the washi tapes. I used the painted florals and adorable frames washi tapes. And for the sentiments on both cards I used the Scripted Bold Sentiments 1 stamp set.
- For the left card, I heat embossed the 'thank you' sentiment in black on one of the frames (from the 'adorable frames' washi) and fussy-cut around the border and popped it onto a card front. I then used both the smaller and larger clusters of florals to embellish the card.
- For the right card I used some of the floral border strips from the painted florals washi, which I combined with the scallop border die from the Simple Edgers die set to create the card front. I love this die; I'm going to be using it as much as I can!

Wow, you really made a lot of cards. Each is so lovely, the gold embossing and the use of the dies really make each look unique! The floral washi is so pretty!

One of my very favorites is the simple gold embossed floral cluster over the pink and coral background. TFS so many wonderful ideas and samples for using the new products.
